Okay, I've gotten none of those little comment alerts for about a week now, but suddenly, sometime last night, the livejournal server finally dumped them all. Which means I now have 100+ comment alerts in my inbox that I'm trying to sift through. So if I suddenly disappeared from some livejournal conversation and haven't replied to you, that's why. I'll catch up eventually. I hope.

A five-minute update on my life:
- Norplant removal site still itches. A lot. I'm being slowly driven crazy.
- Sad because I slacked off on my Bookslut pieces and now none of them were included.
- No really, condoms suck.
- I am astounded at how polite people have been in calling other people on their questionable language and accepting it when someone else calls it on them. Then again, in another community, it turned into a 150+ comment long flame-war.
- I am really, really behind on posting the books I've read for 50 book challenge. Sometime this week there will be a slew of those posts.
- I am worried about work today. I am fine-tuning my reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and will be very sad if it comes up negative again.
- Am feeling extra pressure to be entertaining as a few new people have friended me over the past few days. This post is not cutting it.
