So Andrew came in from mowing one day last week to tell me that he had mowed around a bunch of cool mushrooms so that I could go up and take pictures of them. Of course, this was all it took to plop Jefferson into the stroller and spend an hour or two walking around camp taking pictures of fungus everywhere. It had been some good mushroom weather, so the walk was pretty productive. As a result, there are several pictures of various fungus on my flickr account right now, as well as pictures of leaves beginning to turn, a few flowers, bugs, a spider web, a frog, and even a picture of Jefferson.

I did pay for this expedition, however. Having departed from the usual trails, I spent a lot of time pushing the stroller straight up fairly steep hills. The next morning my calves said, "Oh, I know you don't think we're bending for anything today!" And the next day it showed up in my shoulders. But going through the photos now, I think it was worth it. :)
