next time you leave the house and note that you can't see any of the mountains surrounding the valley of Tucson because there is too much smoke/dust/whatever in the air, remember that walking to work in that same air is probably not a good idea.

i got to work toady with lungs aching like I'd just sprinted the mile and a half distance. Of course, had I really run that far, a lot more would be hurting than just my lungs, but that's beside the point.
